About Neeja
Fafowora Oluwagbeminija Joshua, also known as Neeja, was born on March 3, 2002, in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in Lagos, with roots in Osun state.
Neeja’s musical journey began in his childhood home, where his parents served as pastors in the RCCG. He joined the church choir at age 9, showcasing his vocal talent and mastering instruments like the drum and keyboard.
At sixteen, Neeja became the lead singer of the band TEV (The Exceptional Vessel) and later backed up prominent gospel artists. His rise to fame came with viral covers on social media, including a rendition of Moses Bliss’s “Daddy Wey Dey Pamper,” catching the attention of Spotlite Nation’s CEO, leading to his signing with the label in 2023.
Today, Neeja continues to inspire audiences with his soulful music, blending heartfelt lyrics with captivating melodies, and is poised to make a lasting impact on Christian music.
